Miami probably again, the Big Tuna isnt that good to turn this franchise around plus he isnt calling the shots on the field on Sunday either.

If Detroit get the #1 pick they just choose another WR it seems to solve everything when they are on the clock early.

or the Falcons will because their QB in Ryan is going to be getting kick around all season long so they'll need some O'line help

My overall guess it the Falcons

The Bears offense isn't good. I've never claimed it was. I didn't try to suggest otherwise. Did I make any statement suggesting anything to the contrary? No. They need help on offense. That's why the drafted heavily on the offensive side of the ball. I wouldn't even try to discredit your statements regarding their offense because the reality is they aren't good........period.

Finally, you address my post. Well done.

As for the rest of your opinion based rants, unless you got some kind of crystal ball you're looking into, I will take your satements as just that...opinions. What were your bold predictions going into the 07' season? How did they work out? So your opinions don't hold much water with me.

. My pick still goes to the Bears. Good luck in 08'.

The Bears haven't had the #1 Overall Pick in the entire History of the NFL Draft.

Capone, I was curious on this so I looked it up. The Bears actually had two #1 overall picks.

1941- Tom Harmon (HB) MICHIGAN

1947- Bob Fenimore (HB) OK STATE

I'm not trying to be a d!ckhead, just letting it be known.

I posted:

I voted Raiders just on a hunch (no offense Raider fans).  But on second thought am leaning toward the Bengals managing a completely successful implosion and taking this Honor.  My third guess would have to be the Falcons as they have the necessary tools to win it too, but aren't exactly in the strongest division.

R. Mancini, "no offense" in this post means don't take it personally.  The Raiders could very well have a decent season if things fall into place for them. Who knows?  Good luck to ya.

The Falcons aren't even getting better yet, they are still in the downward spiral. The're going to be worse this year than last. They already have the #1 pick locked up.

Opinions don't' hold water............cups do.  If you put water in an opinion it will spill, I don't need a crystal ball to predict that.

Rants?  Hardly.   The stats don't lie.  I rarely post simply on the basis of just my opinion.  The stats on NFL.com and ProFootball reference.com are usually my point of reference.

The Lions are a terrible team, their recent draft history is pathetic and they have precious little talent on the team.  Only one position player that has ever made it to the Pro Bowl - Roy Williams in 2006, and even that was as an injury replacement.  Jason Hanson was selected twice, but he hasn't been to the Pro Bowl since 1999.

Rod Marinelli now has the team in full rebuilding mode.  Shaun Rogers, Boss Bailey, Kalimba Edwards, Kennoy Kennedy.............all gone.  Corey Redding really slipped last year with only one sack and they didn't add any impact free agents and even their second round draft pick, Jordan Dizon LB was a reach.

I liked the pick of OT Gosder Cherlius.  At least it suggests that Matt Millen has acknowledged adding skill players every year simply isn't working out.  But it will take more than one OT to turn that offensive line around.

My pick is still the Lions for the worst team in the league in 2008.   Good luck to you as well.

Blah,blah,blah... Please show me the stat from nfl.com that shows the Bears having a better record than the Lions in 08'.

Waiting......

Waiting.........

Waiting..................

Exactly, that is YOUR OPINION!!!

Pro-bowlers? Pro-bowlers? We talking bout' probowlers? We're not even talkin' bout the game, we're talkin bout pro-bowlers?( in an Allen Iverson voice) Last year the Cowboys sent 13 to the "popularity" bowl compared to maybe 4 from the Giants? How the heck did such an obviously superior team lose to a bunch of  talentless scrubs?

Hey, here is a fact I found on youraknob.com. Your a knob!!  :)

Ah, childish name calling.  The safe haven for those who lack the intellectual capacity to engage in debate or discussion.

Sad and pathetic.................just like the Lions

It's really hard to pick these things.  You can't predict injuries, suspensions, and those things more than likely influence why a team has the #1 pick.

Not many teams anymore are going to go 1-15, but be completely healthy at the end of the year.

But my best bet would be the Chicago Bears.

Michael Crabtree, the WR from Texas Tech is available, he is thought to be an elite talent, he is a lock to go to the Lions with the #1 overall pick next season.
