I pick Bishop. The guy had it all. He had a cannon for an arm and was fast and hard to tackle. And he was there While I was going to school there so I'm a little parcial. I graduated in '98, we were #1 in the nation it was a sweet ride until Texas A&M had to ruin it for us. ARRRGGGGHHHH. Well, I guess we ruined it for ourselves we should have won that game.

Definitely Michael Bishop. Howitzer for an arm, along with amazing quickness. He was a little more accurate than Ell, but really couldn't go wrong with either of those choices. Josh Freeman doesn't really deserve to be in the discussion at this point. If he could lead us to a Big XII title or a BCS Bowl then you can throw him in the mix.

I stil pick Ell only one so far to lead us to a BIGXII title game, but Freeman could lead us to one just yet, as far as Bischop did you know he was in the Arena Football League, and he also played for the Patriots as backup, and is he still in AFL let me know somebody please.

Ell with out a doubt. From his Junior year he was phenomenal, and I only remember one game in that time span where he screwed up and cost us the game, Texas '03. Bishop was better physically gifted than either of them, but was almost brain dead. Freeman still has a lot to show, but I remember that Ell improved 100% from his sophomore year to his junior. Josh could end up being far and away better than the other two. What about Beasley (the football player) though, he was the only KSU qb to win back to back bowl games?

Michael Bishop, 2nd most exciting player in K-State history behind Darren Sproles, Mike could do it all including fumble. i have never forgiven him for that fumble in the '98 Big 12 champ game

Bishop is still my favorite. I forgot to add he took us to the Fieta bowl and spanked McNabb and the Orangemen of Syracuse. That was the best gave I have ever been to. Check that When Bishop and company beat Nebraska for the first time in forever that was a good one to be at too. Too many great memories from the '97and '98 seasons. Bishop up K-State on the National stage.
I don't know if Bishop is still in the AFL or not he was there 2 years ago. I think he spent 2 years as Bledsoes Backup in New Engeland, before some guy name Brady took over.

Actually if I could combine 2 of the 3....I'd take Bishop's God-given athletic ability with Roberson's head. You have to admit, Bishop is as dumb as a brick. I can still hear myself screaming "GO DOWN" before he fumbled against A&M. He had the first down, what was he thinking. BTW thanks for bringing up the horrible memories!! 8)
