Tyler even said he felt terrible that game, yeah you did kill our o-line. PJ was only 70-80% and we still almost won. Imagine if he was 100% we would've won. if your o-line was 100% you would've won. it didn't matter how healthy your qb's were. they really couldn't do anything, because they were always eating turf.

Only if your defense improves, though.

It will Badgers.

Florida finished 98th in pass defense. I'll take the under. Whats your bet?

We have a defensive end named Carlos Dunlap with the potential to be the best defensive end in Florida's history. We'd had our share here with Trace Armstrong, Jack Youngblood, Jevon Kearse, Kevin Carter and the 2 you seen dominate OSU.

He could be the difference up front this year. 6'7 290 defensive end with burst. The run defense was pretty solid in 07.

Sorry about the homer name, ng. I just like Kodi and see him doing great things in the future as our quarterback, especially after his performance in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. I don't really see him winning a Heisman, but hey, I needed a name. What can I say?

Also, if the series with Jawja was ruled by the visiting team, then why was Auburn smacked down by a 25 point loss last season? I see Auburn ending the treachery and furious Soulja Boy dancing that is Jawja football this year at Jordan-Hare. As for the Iron Bowl, that usually does hold some sort fo significance in the West. Last season, it was for second place behind LSU. Next season...Auburn has everything to lose. Depending on LSU's performance and Bama's recruits, it could hint at the new West champs.

Yea, I will agree with that about the pass into the flats.  Also, had plenty of UT guys hootin and hollering about Cutcliffe coming back, so you are definitely in the minority.  They were hoping he would help Ainge become a great QB, but I never thought he had the chance in the first place.  I was never impressed by Ainge.

Yeah I agree I think your defense will improve, but I don't think to the point where you guys will be holding up the crystal  trophy in Miami.

Ok.......i will start here. Yes, i was in the minority i guess. I was hoping Ainge would become better but i really didn't think he had all that great of a chance. I also, was not impressed with Ainge.....so you don't like Crompton? i think he could become decent and maybe lead us to a win over Florida. I just want to win 8 games next season and a bowl game.

Kodi, Im not sold on him yet just off the fact that he never really impressed me.  As far as the UGA game last year, I have no explaination for it.  Its a fluke game in the series.  Im hoping that the Iron Bowl will send the winner to ATL.  I can see Bama coming in with 2 losses and AU with either 1 or two in the SEC and LSU being out of the picture.  Im not saying anything about our recruits or team yet because I dont even know who will start for us.  Im saying we will be good this year just based off last season and the improvements by JPW in the spring.  Will they translate, who knows?

I sort of do agree that it was a fluke game to an extent. The fact that Brandon had another one of his off days (was it 4 or 5 interceptions?) didn't help and almost the whole team seemed to give up.

Didn't Bama get a new offensive coordinator? I seriously don't know, just curious.

Yea, just off of his performance against Bama, I didnt think he was that great.  2-2, 2 TD, 7 int in his time at UT against Bama.  As for JC, he didnt look great in his few throws against us last year, but who knows how he will do in a new system.  His recievers will have to help him this season for sure, especially early.  8 wins isnt out of the question for sure, but that UCLA game is huge.  If Phil cant win that game, it could be the beginning of the end for him in UT.    It also doesnt help that UCLA doesnt have a QB now and you lose to them.
