Learn something about the 2002 AFC Championship

well thanx for proving my point that Tom Brady is the most overrated qb in the league and is really nothing but an average system qb on a good team. so there were two special team touchdowns i'm guessing brown had one of them, who appearently every patriot fan claims was an average player on the Patriots.

so wait let me get this..... tom brady plays average with average players, and the players around him make him look better, unlike favre and manning who both make the players around them better, and a patriot fan admits that it wasn't all tom brady that won the afc championship game, wow this is a first.

So your going to throw 1 game out there from 8 years of games to try and persuade everyone the Patriots aren't "really" cheaters.  Nope not gonna happen ... the only people will agree with you are your own fans. 

Pretty much everyone else is disgusted that the Patriots franchise has screwed everyone out of the true outcomes of games from the sport we all love for the past decade. 

If the Eagles pulled that BS I wouldn't be a fan anymore of them. 

I don't think anyone ever called the stealing of signs, a surefire way to beat any defense.  The Steelers had the #1 D in the league that year. 

Having no turnovers (pitt had forced 13 in the previous 3 games) was a huge accomplishment for any offense vs. them. 

But no one is saying if the pats get your tapes, your D is now useless.  They still have to outperform that defense.  You could know every time that Lawrence Taylor was going to blitz.  But that doesn't mean you could hold him without a sack.

and bigboy... this is the one game that everyone is pointing at, so I decided to start a thread about it, and if you think that the Patriots are the only team to have cheated... something is desperately wrong with you, but these statements have nothing to do with my original question.

Well they had 3 fumbles (plus a "tuck") and an INT the week before the Steelers. 

But you are right, they do seem to turn over the ball very few times in the playoffs for some reason. 

And I had almost forgot Drew was in there from part way through the first quarter on.  Pats were only scoring 10 points a game at the start of the season with Bledsoe starting against bad D's, and no offense to Bledsoe fans, but that was his best playoff game ever.  Not bad to do that against one of the best defenses he had ever played. 

Nothing that proves either way, but just some argument towards the feasability of it.
