ANY CUBS FANS HERE??

I'm a southsider, bred, born and true.  But, my baseball team is the Cubs.  Always have been, always will be.  Now, I don't hate the Sox, they do represent the city I love.  But, l bleed Cubs blue.  (I never use the the term Cubbies. I hate that.).  I have standing orders with my loved ones that upon my demise, bury me with a Bears jersey, a Cubs hat, and a bottle of Jack Daniels. { Not wearing the items, but in my casket.}

I fall into the branch that most Cubs or Sox loyalists hate and loathe. I root for both teams. Like Jazzman, I grew up on the soutside(79th and Pulaski), and for that reason, I do root Sox over Cubs -when- they play each other.

First and foremost I am a Bears fan above and beyond any other sports in Chicago, but even with that, I am still hoping for a Cubs/Sox world series as the one championship I would like to see before I die. Even over the Bears winning the Superbowl. In that instance, I will not root for any team. In that case... Chicago still wins. I care about this city winning. Blame the Bulls. They spoiled me.
