What should be done about those Trojan Cheats?

Ok all... I see where some of you are taking this OJ Mayo thing... it is like Reggie Bush (and Family)? NCAA is afraid to Sanction/Penalize USC! Right?

My position is that OJ Mayo came with so much baggage that Tim Floyd should have declined the offer for this one and done player!!

Evidence suggests that he was "dirty" or tainted when he was in HS...

But to the Poll (afterall this is a CFB site!)

Question: What should the NCAA do to the USC CFB program or Coach Pete in light of the Reggie revelations?

Take away wins was my vote. Banning them from postseaosn would be worse because than the media would give them AP titles and claim them champs for however many years they didn't play postseason.

I may be too pragmatic... CFB and BB big business... and for the chosen few coming from poor economic background, without parental guidance, it is easy to succomb to the $$$$$$....

Open question as to what the University can really do it try and prevent (stop) this...

Taking away wins does absolutely nothing. Banning them from post season would mean they dont get those nice payouts. They wont claim no AP titles. I dont remember them giving Auburn Co-Champs or anything when they were on probation and going undefeated. Atleast I dont think they did. I could be wrong.

The only mythical national title Auburn claims is for 1957 (the AP title, no less) - a year they were on probation and bowl ineligible for recruiting violations.
