Rays look very good, and not to take anything away from them, but anybody would look good against this Yankees team right now.

Rays, what a great win, I feel bad for Edwin though as Percival has blown his last two GREAT outings but great job by Howell coming in for relief and obviousley Gross with the game winning single.  We got lucky that there was a not so good throw to 2nd with Gomes stealing (maybe hit and run that failed, don't know why we would be hitting and running with Mo pitching) but then Gross comes through with a huge hit.

Go Rays!

Good to see that Jeter is still making good commercials though.....

That's probably a lot more important than baseball to a lot of these Yankees right now, that and their stock brokers.

OK, so he's not perfect. I'd still hand the ball to Mariano Rivera with the game on the line.

This team is having a lot of trouble scoring runs, more trouble than I think it should be having. Hot spreads through a lineup just as fast as cold does, and baby, it's cold outside right now. All we can do is wait for somebody to get hot and start carrying the team.

Go Yankees!  HH

Damn Damn Damn. I had to leave at the end of the 8th inning. I come back now and see Matsui homered to tie the game, and Mo gave up the winning run.

You can't expext Mo to be perfect all year. This loss is on the Yankees lack of offense, not on the pitching. You can't ask your pitching to give up less than 2 runs in 11 innings.
