Cleveland Indian starting pitching has gone 34 consecutive shutout innings and counting. This is without Jake Westbrook in the rotation as well. How good is a rotation where C.C. Sabathia has the worst ERA? If pitching wins championships, I like our chances.

That is pretty darn impressive, however I don't think it will last to the end of your next game. BTW, what's the MLB record for that?

IDK, rhcp. The record for a single player is 56 by Orel Hershiser in 1987 for the Dodgers. Also, Cliff Lee went 9 scoreless in the 2nd game of the double header and the Tribe still lost in the 10th. We just couldn't score.

pitching wins championships.  thats why the redsox won't repeat this year.  i find it funny that this indian streak is going somewhat unoticed while one of cbs sportsline's headlines this morning is "Rays snap rivera's streak".  15 scoreless innings?????????  that is no stinking streak.
