Kris Durham -- WR at UGA. This kid has some hands and can stretch the field. I think this is his year to shine. Do your thing Kris.

From Troy---

Jerrel Jernigan WR--had his break-out game agains UGA. He went 11 catches for 102 abd 2 TDs. He's a true sophomore and a very dangerous weapon (can't wait to see him against LSU and tOSU this year!)

Austin Silvoy WR--had a break-out game against FL before the injury bug caught up to him. He went 5 catches for 72 yds and 2 TDs. He's a sophomore (don't think that he was eligible for a redshirt)

Just a couple of guys they may need to watch some film on in the fall...(but the offense is loaded again)

From Auburn, I think Tristan Davis is going to make a name for himself again. He missed much of the '07 season due to injury but led the nation in kick return yards in '06, roughly 27 yards per return if I recall correctly.

I would also say Sen'Derrick Marks. People say filling the shoes of Quentin Groves may be tough, but this kid has a ton of potential. Lining him up with the likes of Tray Blackmon is scary, but it's going to happen. I see them carrying our defense to another great year.

I became pretty impatient with our defense in the first half of that game.  Troy was an underrated team - some very talented WR's; easily the best group out of a non-BCS conference that I can think of (yes, including Hawaii; Troy at least played legitimate teams and drove some D-coordinators crazy). I'm not really surprised Tuberville hired Franklin - he put up monster stats on both Florida and Georgia in the no-huddle offense.

I like the fact that last year he got some playing time to prepare for this season in the SEC , and he was pretty good last year, but Knowshon is about to put a show on....

also believe that Berry at Tennessee is gonna be great at DB ( what a stretch i'm takin, huh?)..

Sure i got a homer pick, an ACC dude that is certain (IMO) to pop up on ya radar this fall will be Vince Oghayabase {sp?} a DT from Duke that simply cannot be blocked and is unfortunately playing on, well, DUKE !

other notables could be Brian Maddox -RB /South Carolina..because Rice has left the building how about Kenny Britt -WR/Rutgers.. and don't go sleepin' on junior DE Ricky Sapp from Clemson ! (maybe no one will notice that i put a Tiger in there at the end ).

Mdawg hit it on the spot. Jake Locker is sick. I think he and Washington are going to be moving up quickly.

And what a tough player he is. I remember in that Oregon State game he had a scary helmet-to-helmet collision with a defender. He was knocked out of that game and wasn't even sure if he would be able to move his body. From such an underachieving team like Washington, Locker far overachieved as a leader of the offense. The defense is what really lost those games (especially to Hawaii and Arizona, but at least forced turnovers against USC to keep it a close game). His running reminds me more of Vince Young's than Tebow's and I put him near the top of the Heisman watch list for next season.

I've been following Locker since I saw him lead his team to the WA State finals and win. He was a man among boys in that game. And try and catch every game he plays in on Fox West broadcasts during the season.

He's the real deal. Like Tebow...but his speed is soo deceptive. He's got some extra step that just keeps him from getting nailed. But like mentioned...he did take some serious hits. USC's Maualuga or Rivers (?) hit him soo hard last year...I thought he'd never be right.

If Washington had done things right in recruiting--they could of had Jonathon Stewart, Taylor Mays, and Locker on one team. Washington would of been back to their glory days. But as much as I like and respect Willingham...I'm just not sure he's the guy to lead them back to NC hopes.
