IF NEW ENGLAND COULD ONLY BEAT THE MANNINGS WHEN IT REALLY MATTERS...
Like in the 2004 AFC Championship game? or the 2005 afc divisionals? show me the so called "pats" fan who said this, one guy doesn't mean an entire fan base. poor specter i'd say he's the worse fan of anyone he can't seem to accept the fact that mcnabb sucks and will never win it all.

As a steeler fan, I think the refs cheated with bens rushing touchdown, but we would have won anyway

Rocklee - you are entitled to your opinion as far as the touchdown goes, I saw it from different angles and some I said no he didn't get in and others I said yes. There obiously wasn't enough there to change the call, but that does not mean the Steelers cheated.

but if you can't overcome bad calls, you have no business winning anyway,

I've seen games where the referees changed the winner. I don't agree, but I do agree that whining about the calls is moot. There will never be a perfect system until an unbiased computer is implemented as the referee system.

Descendency, The referees, or officials, depending on sport, are not involved in the actual pl;aying of the game. they are merely there to call infractions, and make sure that the game is played in a fair manner. I'm not saying that there aren't bad calls, they happen all the time, but they are not the reason that an entire team wins or loses. They may affect the difficulty, but I will never believe that they affect the end result. I've played sports my entire life, and have been on both sides of the bad calls, and when I was on the bad side, of a bad call(s) it normally drove me to fight harder. Going out there and executing, and beating the men on the other side of the ball is what decides the outcome game, not zebras with yellow handkerchiefs.... in my opinion of course.
