	Way to go Brewers in the major signing. It is about time they got some talent and kept it around instead of trading it away or losing to free agency.

	Great to see that the Brewers are willing to spend the money to keep this team in tact. I think the deal is an absolute steal for the Brewers. The numbers Braun has put up thus far in the majors certainly warrants more than the Brewers just signed him for. Regardless, Braun mentioned he wanted to stay with the Brewers and wanted to keep this team together....so we're moving in the right direction.

	I don't think it was a steal, but more of a gift from Braun. He said that he loves the fans, the city, the players, and that he wants to remain a Brewer for a long time. It's refreshing to see a player that looks at more that just the dollars. He could have easily made twice as much with some other teams. He reminds me of Robin Yount in that way.

	In reading comments in the media from Braun and earlier ones in the year from Fielder, you get the feeling Braun is a team guy who is committed to the Brewers and to winning. Fielder gives the impression he just wants his money. Is this mostly just media or is there a real difference between the 2 in that regard? I think both are important to the Brewers and I hope we get Fielder locked up long term as well.
