This is the third annual Fantasy Football ratings! Some of you will remember from years past I will try to do the top 24 at all offensive positions. It will be a collective vote and will create a nice fantasy cheat sheet for your draft.

So who are you taking as the top fantasy WR for 2008?

If you vote other please write in your choice and it will be tallied (though I doubt there should be an "other" this early.)

I am taking Reggie Wayne here. I am just afraid of age with Moss and Owens and think they could go away at any moment. Would take Andre Johnson if there weren't injury issues. I have realized Braylon Edwards should maybe be on list but this isnt supposed to be the top 7 it is just who is number 1. If Edwards gets enough write in votes I will count them.

I have to agree with you on this one, Wayne has been very consistent and he is in a system that works. If he is available I'd pick him over any of the others. Then Houshmandzadeh who is pretty darn good (but we'll see how well this year), TO is great but not always in the games, Moss, only as good as the wide outs he has opposite of him, Smith, ditto,  Fitzgerald is sporatic and is a toss up with Bolden, I think the other not listed that should would be Tory Holt.

I agree with Torry Holt still being a top 10 talent I just dont think anyone is taking him top 4 anymore.

I would add Braylon Edwards to your list of top WR but the rest of them are all worthy as well.

Randy Moss just put up ridiculous numbers last year and i can't come up with 1 reason why he wouldn't do the same this year. - if anything the Patriots' defense is 1 year older with even less coverage ability.

Randy Moss is a physical freak. He will always dominate the NFL as long as offensive pass-interference is never getting called.

Reggie Wayne should benefit greatly from Peyton Manning & Co. Assuming Marvin Harrison does not play that much this year.

Both of these teams are not a run first team, too.

Steve Smith has some QB issues (again.) I see a down year for him. Terrell Owens drops too much, IMO.

So, Randy Moss sounds good to me.

Chad Johnson

If Ocho-Cinco becomes an Eagle (expect T.O.-like numbers from the year he was an Eagle)

Andre Johnson has always flown under the radar because he's a.) not flambouyant like most WRs b.) he's been on a bad team with a bad QB, line and bad RBs c.) when he finally gets a good QB he get's injured for the 1st time in his 5 year career.

Trust me Andre Johnson will be the best WR this year with an improving o-line and another year under HC Gary Kubiak.  I also like Marques Colston, he had good stats last year despite nagging injuries all year not to mention it's a contract year for extra motivation.
