It should be ok. Maybe we will be lucky and have him back by the beginnin of the Finals. Don't want him to rush if its something serious like this.

Hey Jim, good to see you are recovered from your hysterectomy! You are such a Pu$$y. You seem to know so little about hockey, or maybe its just sports in general, but its good to see that a woman like you will take the time and try to understand her mans sports. Do you even have the first idea what it is like to shovel off the pond, then mist it with a thin coat of water to create an ideal surface, and then get 15-20 of your buddies and then go play hockey all day? I didn't think so. You probably don't know the difference between a cross check, a fore check and a back check. My guess is the only check you are familiar with is a cancelled check. So whine some more little jimmy, cause you have all summer to cry about it after the Wings eliminate the Stars in game 5.

It's called a FAN PureGenius (Pains me to even type that...your name not FAN)
You don't have to know shiznat about a sport to know what's up and have an opinion.
PureAverageihopeIQ should have been your alias.

Agreed, I would love to see him back but he is too young and talented to risk further injury by rushing him back in the lineup. Wings should wrap it up on Saturday and hopefully give a few extra days off for the youngster.

Man here we go again with PsuedoGenuis. Are you off your meds or something? All you can do on these blogs is insult opposing fans and make childish comments. You love saying that none of the opposing fans know anything about hockey but you haven't added anything intellectual or informative about hockey on these blogs. This is a hockey blog, not a "I'm pissed at the world so I will take it out anynomously on strangers because I am too much of a pansy in real life" blog. You claim you are middle aged but it is becoming quite obvious that you are just a whiny little preteen that gets off on berading other people with schoolyard insults. Is Bubba bullying you and taking your lunch money and so you take it out on the internet? This guy Jim even admitted that his comment was over the top, and yet you still viciuosly attacked him like hes banging your girlfriend. Other wings fans, do you consider this to be okay conversation here? YOu guys are normally pretty congenial in discussion and yet I see nothing from you guys when this guy goes off. Is your silence saying you condone this drivel? If you guys think he is taking this too far you need to step up b/c he sure as he!! ain't going to listen to opposing team fans. If it wasn't for these other sane wingnuts (thats what they call Detriot fans right? no insult intended, if this isn't an official fan name you guys should use it) I would start to get the impression that Michigan is full of hateful morons. There may be some playful ribbing amongst fans on these blogs, but it is normally in decent taste (no true harm intended) and these guys at least stay on topic or even mention the premise of the blogs. You, on the other hand, just spew misogynistic, homophobic, and just downright hateful comments to people you don't know sh!t about. Maybe this drivel makes you feel like a big man. Do your insecurities feeel better now that you have ranted on and on? You are a real big man, hiding anonymously behind a keyboard with your big talk. I am amazed that people put up with your sh!t in real life, if you were in Texas, you wouldn't last a minute because we Texans understand what a true gentlemen are and what common decency is, and someone would have shot or beaten you up by now because you are a rude, hateful, prick. Normally I would just ignore DBgas like this but I hate bullies, especially when I witness them unjustifiably pick on someone who's fault was only being within earshot of this lunatic . I am willing to bet you don't act like this in real life, you are probably a whiny pushover in real life and this is your release. You need help man.

Back to topic, you always want to be careful bringing someone back in after they got their bell rung, because if you bring them back in too early, at best you lose the player for a longer stretch than the original injury and at worst cause permanent brain damage and end their career. Especially since this is a violent contact sport and the brain is such a sensitive organ, you always want to be cautious and ease them back in when the time is right. We have the same thing going on with our player Stu Barnes, who is a key player for us. As much as we need him back, one game, one series, or even one season isn't worth detroying someone's life over. I feel for Frazen and you Redwings fans, and here's hoping for a full and speedy recovery. Although if he wants to wait until our series was over, I won't complain :)
Game 6 should hopefully be a good one.
