This is not the most ideal situation for Troy in that we are trying to build a reputation of a 1st class mid-major program...It can be a better match-up than most of the college world believes, without Ryan. I truly hope that this kid can get his life straightened out on and off the field because some of the student athletes are not equipped to handle their talent coming out of high school...blame the parents if you will, but you can teach a child the correct way to live, but that doesn't mean they will take those teachings and make them their own. Hopefully he can drop down to a lower division and salvage his life and football career.

Off the soapbox and back to football...so faras experience coming back to the field, Troy has a very deep defense and the whole offensive line is back! Most of the season last year, the Troy Trojans were in the top 10 in sacks allowed, but ended the season ranked 38th in the same category. As long as we can keep Hampton clean, we'll make it a good game. If the defense has a better year against the run, I look for a game comparable to the Troy-GA game, but against an unproven freshman QB...yeah, I like our chances...

Go Troy!!!

I am with you there bruthabubba.  I think the Trojans will be a surprise for a lot of teams this year.  And we are going in overlooked as always.

BTW we are now both TOP 1K!!!!

I think Troy's chance of beating LSU is better than it was a few years ago when they almost pulled it off.  You guys be careful if you head down to the game.  Those crazy cajuns can get violent with opposing fans.
