Well if people who teach their children morals and ethics in the first place, there wouldn't be all these people running around gay.
Gay people will be gay whether or not someone tells them to be. They are born that way, and they'll either embrace it early, or live their lives wishing they could be who they are... or they'll end up so repressed that they end up in the clergy, molesting little boys.
Nobody is stopping them from being together. They just don't meet the legel critera to get married. It happens.. People don't meet the legal criteria for a lot of things.
Must be 35 to run for president.. Oh thats age discrimination!!!!

Just because something is law, it doesn't mean it's right. Segregation was law for a century... that doesn't mean we weren't violating people's rights. Not allowing two gay people to marry is a violation of their civil rights.

I caught the sarcasm the first time.. it still doesn't change the fact there is no reason to believe any 'questioning' such as you describe took place...There is plenty of reasons. These reasons have been video recorded, photographed and spread through out the world. Just because this person was not in those photos doesnt mean that he wasnt subject to the same tough love we give to the terrorists.
But you refuse to believe in the intelligence put out by the White House itself.. are you saying that it is not part of our government?? If you believe the CIA, FBI, and NSA are separate entities that do not answer to the powers from above and put out exactly what they are told then your security clearance just wasn't high enough :) The White House gets their intelligence from the Pentagon who shares it with the CIA, FBI and NSA. Now if all those people under the umbrella of the Pentagon who actually commands the troops on the ground and report the findings found no evidence of a link then why would I think there is a link?
There was a link posted in this very thread from the White House from July 2007... I guess you ignored that one.Its 2007, we are almost half way through 2008, and no GW, no Cheney, no Rice, no McCain coming forward about the link. Obama doesnt believe in a link but McCain should be kicking the dirt up screaming about the link and why we need more troops. Why isnt McCain actually campaining on this?

This is my last post on this topic as you will continue to believe what they say now and I will continue to believe what they initially reported and what I feel are more reliable sources actually on the ground in the area every day. We're getting absolutely nowhere in this debate and there really isn't anything left to cover :)

As was also pointed out.. we don't allow multiple spouses, civil rights violation again? How about a man/woman's right to marry a horse? You don't have to be anti-gay or have homophobia to disagree with gay-marriage anymore than you have to be anti-children to be against 10yr olds marrying.

They are adult, legal, human people just as much as you or I.
They should have the full rights of every person living in the United States of America. Because at the end of the day, they are still people.
They're personal preferences in regards to their sexuality really doesn't hurt or cause other harm to anyone else. I see no reason as to why they can not marry another person.
