I was looking at the changes on each team including depth as well as the starters in the NFC east and also looking at schedules.   The conclusion i came up with is that outside of Dallas i don't see one East team doing better that 9-7 maybe maybe one hits 10-6 and i am thinking its philly as a possibility there.  The rest 7-9 or 8-8 at the very best. Now the Giants fans well we won the SB well its sometimes better to be lucky . I make a serious prediction this season Dallas sweeps your giants again this season.   Your in for a long drought.  Washington is going through a lot of changes but has talent.  If  Philly ever stays healthy  they could challenge getting samuels and if they can keep Lito they will be even better on defense and they were strong last year on defense.

The last two season i predicted that three east teams would go to the playoffs; however that is not going to be the case this year.  Two at best is all from the east.   NFC South got better and Carolina will be back as well as NO,  possibly TB but not holding my breathe on that one.  Minn and GB will definately be in the hunt.  The west i just don't give much respect to because they will have to get alot better but one of those teams win the division and goes.

Dallas - This team is just scary with talent and depth 12-4

Philly - This team has more talent that the other teams in this division if they can get it together and stay healthy 10-6

NYG -  8-8  this is the best i see them. SB or not.

Washington -  To many changes going on perhaps 7-9  they play tough when they play though.

Anyway i am excited about this season.

I like your calls. I think Dallas should be better than everyone they play but will simply drop 3-5 games because of the "any given Sunday" thing. If it is 3 they have home field through out. If it is 5.....I hope it isn't 5.

I see Phili at 10-6 but you can reverse those numbers if the injury bug is still infesting their team.

NYG- Really 8-8. I bet they do better than that but not much. That pass rush should be good for 6 or 7 all by themselves.

If they can get quality QB play, Minn should win that division. I just can't see GB being that good without Favre. They are good in many areas but 10 wins would be hurculean for them. Carolina is going to have to prove it to me before I will believe they do anything but underperform.

Oline whats going man?

Of course I have to disagree with you.

The Giants have sured up their secondary with phillips and thomas, granted they may not make an immediate impact, i.e. thomas, but I do think Phillips will.  You guys can appreciate great talent with bad character, i.e. manningham, if you have seen a Michigan game, you know this kid can play, plus with Plax as the obvious no. 1 and toomer, possibly smith being the no. 2, abd you bring in mario, we have a very talented receiving core.  Wilson was not that big of a loss, he got torched on many games, including against you guys, so no one on the Giants is really sad to see him go, same goes with kawika, he was a god leader, but his body is depleting and was not that strong during the regular season, expect to hear a lot more from blackburn, who we as giants fans are excited about.

As long as Eli can play like he did in the playoffs we should be a top offensive team in the NFL, plus the Jacobs/Bradshaw/Ward combo may be the best in the league.  Our pass rush is top notch, and we drafted accordingly as reese always does to make sure we can keep a solid defense with that aggressive attack.

To say we will repeat would be nieve, there are a lot of great teams, including yours that will have a shot at representing the NFC in next years bowl.  You guys do have a scary team and I see us splitting games, but I know it will be tough, and close.

Good luck to you until then, hopefully no injuries occur for either teams and we can meet at full strength.

I think the Redskins will be the surprise team in the NFC East this year. The Cowboys won't be a surprise because everyone expects us to be good and win the division. I think the Skins will finish second because they have more weapons than the Giants and Eagles. I see McNabb getting hurt again this year because he has gone over a year now without an injury. They have NO talented receivers unless Jackson developes into something special. All they have is westbrook.  Samuels will help their secondary but Dawkins is getting real old and Sheppard wants out.  The Giants will be the least productive because they will probably lose Shockey. Plex and Toomer are getting old and Brandon Jacobs didn't turn out to be an every down back like they thought he would. He was outplayed in the second half of the year by Bradshaw. Their defense lost several key players and may lose Strahan. Now with Washington the 2 rookie WR's could possibly become starters this year ( Kelly, Thomas). If Portis stays healthy he is a very good runner and so is Betts. Cooley is a good threat especially in the redzone and Campbell should be decent now that he has some experience.

But with all that said none of these teams are any where close to as talented as the Cowboys. The Cowboys have a COMPLETE team. We don't have one weakspot on our team right now.

Cowboys 14-2

Redskins 9-7

Eagles 8-8

Giants 6-10

Cardinals Rams Buccaneers 49ers Browns Vikings Peyton Manning Shaun Alexander Panthers Bears Yankees Mets Tony Gonzalez Jason Witten Hines Ward Deion Branch Larry Fitzgerald Fred Taylor Randy Moss Tom Brady sucks White Sox Red Sox Ichiro Suzuki Diamondbacks Roger Clemens Reggie Wayne Bobby Engram Walter Jones
