Steven A Smith a racist?

I don't think it's racist, but he always takes it to the edge.  The NBA is an interesting conversation to have about race though.  It's very visible, not like football where everyone wears a helmet.  

We had a thread on here a while back trying to find the best white american born nba player.  the list was not a good one.  that said, who cares?  basketball is basketball to me.  there are different styles of play and some attribute it to race (white guys shoot threes and black guys play above the rim), but i don't buy that.  i think it has to do with how you were brought up to play the game. 

i could go on and on, but i gotta work.  interesting article.

A: about 2 years after the NBA players strike when the NBA started losing money because america grew more and more disinterested in basketball

The best white American born player to ever play in the NBA was and always will be Larry Bird , Stockton was good but he was no superstar, he was Robin to Batman and couldn't hold a stick to Bird.

   As for Stephan A Smith he is a loud mouth obnoxious person and very well could be a racist but I don't get him being a racist from this article, I believe he was setting the record straight it don't matter what color or race you are if you could play basketball and bring in money to the NBA , you are more than welcome to play in our leaugue, it is all a bussiness.

I hate this image problem. Maybe if people would open there eyes they would realize that having tattoos and listening to hip hop doesn't make you a thug. It's the people who think the NBA is full of thugs that are racist.
