	even with the Rays gaining 1/2 game on the Red Sox today (to extend their al east lead to 1 game) the fact that it was at the expense of the Yankees pitching (Ian Kennedy in particular) makes me not mind quite as much -- ESP since it dropped the yankees into the al east cellar now IF only the red sox bats could remember HOW to drive in runs instead of stranding baserunners left + right -- not to mention the red sox starting rotation actually lasting past the 6th inning on a more regular basis...
