Just four 11 game seasons??? Amateurs!

How many other BCS games were they in?? Please dont bring that 03 crap back up. it would be like me saying that we're the only team in the BCS era to have 2 AP Championships. Who gives a Shiite about the past, what does the NCAA say??

As for you doing it fair and square?? Well show me the PROOF where we cheated. Please dont bring basketball into this. It's like bringing a knife to a gunfight.

Tell me right now you would not trade your three extra wins for an extra title......and tell me 59 wins in the PAC is equal to 56 wins in the SEC and finally look at the title of the thread posted by a loyal Trojan Fan...Luver, that's the reputation you have now, not us.

We are just the little train that could.

I light of both the Bush and Mayo situations,I feel the NCAA sould give both programs the death penality. You have a serious problem here with the school looking the other way as the sports teams do as they wish. The coaches need to be replaced as well. You have to think this is just the tip of the iceburg.

SirNut, I agree with you...USC is the only team west of Nebraska that has done ANYTHING in the past 7 years, and how did they do it?  Maybe by some under the table recruiting methods...let's just say they are innocent...it doesn't really look good that they have two star athletes in different sports accused of wrongdoing.  Maybe it's the glitz and glamour of LA...I don't know, but something needs to be done...Maybe then they won't be my Razorbacks or Wolverines!  LOL...

even a moron (usc fan) knows how much money is generated by a college football
program.  even a high school program generates the funds.  if the college is in it for
the money well the player should be there too.   and you can throw that free education
bit out the door too.  it is and always will be about the money. bcs pays more money for their bowls and the colleges want it.  the ncaa is just as much at fault as is the colleges.
oh if reggie has to give up his heisman, my arse, that guy busted his butt  for the chunk of
iron. the players are usually the ones branded the cheater and have to live with the check mark or asterik even though they did everything asked of them.  i love college football more than any other sport and i hate it when these players are the ones who have to suffer.
if they take away recruits well theres a couple kids who had nothing to do with any of this
that wont get to play. if you take away the post season, again, players who had nothing to do with it, will suffer again. if a college is busted for this kind of cheating fine them, take there money.  if that team make it to a bowl game take that money too.  the only way you can stop it is if you take away the whole reason they did it in the first place. any other penalty or restriction is only hurting the kids there or coming up.  oh and take the money from the fines and put into a distress fund for the players to have access to.

I feel you domer....it's just annoying to see a school have success when they could have done it the wrong way.  And you're right, kids do suffer that are innocent and have nothing to do with the mess, but it all still falls back on the school.  To a degree, i think a school can police this...but, only to a degree.  We all know that if a kid wants to take money and has access to it, he will take it...no brainer.  I hate to say it, but schools may have to adopt the Notre Shame approach and only recruit band nerds and calculus phenoms!  LOL

Like this post and one other has brought up, the NCAA seems to be scared of going after USC. I've not heard to much on the Mayo case, from what I have heard it should be easy to see the FIRE.

The case with R. Bush was SO DAMNED BLATANT that it was ridiculous. Possibly the Impala that he drove being over looked I could see that, as it was just a car? How can the athletes family move to the L.A. area and live rent free for years and NO questions be ask? I remember reports about Reggie and his dad going shopping for close for big events and spending a thousand dollars on a suite. Where did the money come from???

Tell me right now you would not trade your three extra wins for an extra title......

This is an easy one.  If I was SC, I would definitely trade three extra wins for an extra title.  It's not even a close - take 3 wins off the record and add a 3rd mnc?  Who wouldn't go for that?

and tell me 59 wins in the PAC is equal to 56 wins in the SEC

Nothing gets past you, whodem.  You're exactly right on this.  59 is definitely not equal to 56.  In fact, I'll go one step further:  59 is three more than 56.  How's that?!

We are just the little train that could.

My 3rd favorite train, but the only one that "could" in, well - forever (though ASU was hosed out of an mnc in 1975).
