No, its one thing, the fans are a turning into a bunch of know-nothing a-holes, who don't understand that when you fail 7 times out of 10, you are a star player. Players make outs. Pitchers give up runs. If you boo a guy for having a slow start you are just prepetuating the problem.
Booing for a lack of effort is acceptable. Booing for continious bad play is at least understandable (although dumb.) Booing because a guy makes an out with the bases loaded when your team is winning 4-0 is preposterous. They are making savvy Cubs baseball fans, (like me) look bad. I don't like looking bad. (even though it takes alot for me to look bad.)
