Time to look at what might be available in Charlotte

Owens is as dead as a door nail, don't look for him to ever lead-off for the White Sox, ever !.

I haven't seen Josh Fields name in the box score lately, he must be hurt.

Getz is over .300 now, look for him to compete with Richar next year for the 2nd base position.  He hits LH !

Larry Wise, a 30 year old LH hitting OF is hitting .350 , He also has 12 stolen base, isn't that more then the whole White Sox team?   I've mentioned before that I thought the White Sox could use another LH hitter coming off the bench to pinch hit.   He can't do any worse then most of the team is hitting!   Wise does have a little experience in the big leagues.

They could either get rid of Osuma or send Ramirez to Charlotte to get some playing time.  That being said, I think we may see Ramirez this weekend against SF LH pitchers.   How will he get better unless he plays?   Osuma's ability is overated by Ozzie. He helped the White Sox in 2005, but hasn't since. Time to say goodbye, thank him  for 2005, pat him on the back and wish him good luck !

Lance Broadway, he will be at least a number 3 starter in the big leagues.   Look at his hits to innings ratio, awesome!

Uribe pulled a hammy or something last night, so it looks like he's out a few days.  You will see Ramirez or Pablo at 2B over the weekend

Fields is on the DL, but I'm not giving up on Owens yet. IMO he should be here right now in place of Ramirez or Ozuna.

There is no chance Wise gets called up. 30 yr old journeymen OF are in AAA for a reason. He is hitting  but in a hitters park, which makes the pitching by Broadway more impressive. I havn't seen Broadway this year but his stats have been good. There's no place for him right now other than a long man out of the BP if Massett is sent packing.

I agree about Ozuna, he should b let go if he can't even help the team defensively or steal a base.

I don't know what the organization thinks about Wise, but I'm assuming they aren't to happy with Owens.  I'm only looking at the rest of 2008 and not beyond that.  Wise is hitting 110 more points more then Owens and hes only 3 years older.  You could consider Owens a journeyman too !     AJ is the only LH they can count on, hopefully Swisher will get his act togther,soon.   I'm not sure if Thome will be with the team in 2009.

I think Massett will be with the team longer then Wasserman.  I don't think they will call Broadway up until September.
