Big10Sux, where do you get your information? Do you have a personal window into the mind of Mr. Tebow?? Assume he has a decent season this year (doesn't need to be exceptional, just decent), he will have won a National Championship (as a freshman) and the Heisman (as a sophmore) and will have been a two year starting QB. Even if he values an eduation, he might legitmately think that the risks of returning to school (injuries etc) are just too great for too little reward given he has won the two major trophies in college football.
As far as the first post is concerned, the Jets won't be the worst team in the NFL this year, but they may be bottom 5 if things really go badly. However, to get Tebow (assuming he is the top QB on everyone's board) they will really have to be in the top 2. Unlike this year where only one team in the top 5 really needed a QB as the first major priority (I list the priority positions as OT, QB, DE), the team's that will struggle next year are most likely to need to upgrade at the QB position. Teams like the Bears (Grossman's had too many chances), the Dolphins and Chiefs (who knows how these young QBs will turn out?? if both teams get their O-lines sorted they might take Tebow) are going to need to upgrade at QB as their first priority among the major positions.
I think Tebow will revert back to the trend of QBs going #1 overall
