You Pats fans think if you write a million posts blaming everyone else and protecting the Pats it will make the whole thing go away. Keep writing... and writing, and writing.

Why is it that L.T. doesn't acknowledge the cheating in his own locker room? I mean, if he is such a stand-up guy and not the crybaby we all know him to be, shouldn't he be spending a little more face time cleaning up his own back yard? There is a ton of "cheating" in the NFL. The Pats got caught on a stupid rule. If you know ANYTHING about this story, you should know that it is not illegal to tape coaches and their signals, it IS illegal to do so from a non-stationary position in the stadiums. It is a stupid rule in the first place. They were taping the same thing I can DVR at home....Just stupid.

The Mighty Patriots went 17 and 0- No!
It gives me a warm feeling to think of the hundreds of millions of dollars lost by those who bet on the Pats in the Super Bowl.
May now they will put their discretionary income towards helping developing countries with their education system, or helping the poor in our own back yard, like LT does.
I can dream, can't I?
PS -Speaking of investment versus gambling, I support the war in Afghanistan, but the sheer expense of the Iraq war could have changed Africa forever, and I still don't see what has been gained.
War is like gambling: it's only the house that wins.

NEsportsFan, I like how you homers try to sugar coat. Not sure where you get your information from...probably some homerific NE paper. But I like how you try to make it seem like all of us are the ones who don't know ANYTHING about the story & the rules & where it is & isn't illegal to tape. Please stop with the twisting gibberish. Here I'll make it easier for you.
NFL rules state "no video recording devices of any kind are permitted to be in use in the coaches' booth, on the field, or in the locker room during the game." They also say all video for coaching purposes must be shot from locations "enclosed on all sides with a roof overhead."
That was re-emphasized in a memo sent Sept. 6 to NFL head coaches and general managers. In it, Ray Anderson, the league's executive vice president of football operations wrote: "Videotaping of any type, including but not limited to taping of an opponent's offensive or defensive signals, is prohibited on the sidelines, in the coaches' booth, in the locker room, or at any other locations accessible to club staff members during the game."
So, the way you worded it it would be legal to tape coaches & their signals from the coaches booth. It's not. Nice try though.

Does The City of Boston offer money to move their dumbest citizens out of town? Anyone who lives in SD knows how mant transplants from Boston there are in town. Talking football with them is like having a debate with George W about quantum physics. NEWSFLASH!!! We all know what the Pats record was, do you reall | |
