I think poligamy should be legalized.  What right does the goverment have to tell people they cannot marry?  If they are in love they should be married.  It is none of my business what people do in the privacy of their own homes.  The government needs to stay out of their bedrooms!

Yeah, no kidding.  All this thread topic talk is killing my Colts conversation here.  (Yes BlueChrome, I noticed you're a fan too)

So Anika, I have a friend who has watched every UK football game for years and he told me that our new TE Jacob Tamme has the best hands he's seen.  Apparently dude catches everything thrown his way.

How's that for some optimism?

Homosexuality is a behavioral dysfunction  or "acting out" behavior of sexual addiction.  It has common roots with other BPD/BPAD based addictions including alcohol addiction, narcotic addiction, food addiction, gambling addiction, work addiction.  All of these dysfunctions have both genetic (to a much lesser degree) and environmental origins (to a major degree).  It's a symptom of a mental illness and as a dysfunction it shouldn't be given a legitimate status.  For those that say it's a harmless condition then how do you feel about the behaviors of other types of addicts?  I don't have enough space or time to go over some of the harm they can cause.  For example, some sources have estimated that the per capita rate of pedophilia in the homosexual population is 10 times higher than the general population.  It's statistically supported in the criminal justice files.  I wouldn't call that a harmless trend.

It's not a lifestyle.  It's an outfalling behavior of a mental illness.  The public should not be blitzed by a storm of propoganda from Hollywood indicating otherwise, nor should it be strong armed by revisionist/rogue judges.  The FCC and the judicial system should stop this nonsense.

Josh, 2 questions:

First, you have friends?

Second, you have friends who watch UK?

That's a real Gene Keady.

Well, guess maybe we shouldn't let heteros marry, then, if all they want is sex.

Fine by me.

I also believe you should have to pass a test to have children, too many people having kids who have no idea how to care for them.

As far as Kinsey goes, you are correct, he did die in the 50's (my college book was obviously a reprint), but even Kinsey was chastised for being biased (he was bi-sexual).

B.C.- I appreciate that. I like to read as well.

I had a very successful 23 year career in design- without a degree. When I went to college for design, I'd been in the field for three years. I found that I knew more than the instructors, because experience, from what I've found, means more than books.

Maybe put down the books and go out and see what is really out there. You may be surprised, I hope.
