I have begun to notice an influx of Packers fans coming onto OUR board, and insulting every player and position on our team. They are even going as far as insulting our AD, and Jarred Allen. Players that DONT even deserve to be mention in a sentence with "Bad" and "overated".
I am begining to noticed that you are only posting negatives on the Vikings board. Could this be because you are afraid? Do you feel insecure about your QB? Do you feel you need a shoulder to cry on? Just go find Favre, he seems to enjoy crying.
How about this, have you ever thought why a pro-bowl QB who went 13-3 in a season would retire? Do you honestly think its because he "doesnt have any football left". No, because he knows, as do we, that it was a fluke, never to happen again. He knew it was over, and he was sending you people a message. Are you people smart enough to decode this simple message? A sixteen year old just figured it out....
You Packers fans need to learn some class. Do you see us coming onto your board and insulting you? No, you dont. Grow up and leave us alone on these boards, and let us keep to ourselves. Besides, what is insulting our players going to do? Give you a chance of winning? Make our player play better? Get us riled? Or do you need attention? Are you insecure about your team? Are you going to learn about class? Are you people going to GROW UP? (Sad, a 16 year old just told you to GROW UP). Are you going to leave us, and our players out of insult and leave our boards?
OMG TODDY!!!!! I dont think anyone else could have said it better! That was pretty much an embarressment to all packer fans. This thread itself will put the packer fans into submission and hopefully teach them a lesson. I mean honesty dont you think they are all hopped up on cheese when they write these posts! They just write on our threads because what do they have to talk about... how they're going to suck, how Rodgers wont be close to Favre.. how Allen will be up in Rodgers face the whole game.... Oh and not to mention how AD is goin to make a 300 yard game against the Packers in front of the whole nation on MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL BABY!!!!
Well I'll do an entire take on this for you Toddy.
First of all Jared Allen and AD can be called overrated should people wish. It is merely there opinion and they will eat their crow (unless they are insanely stubborn) if their production continues or increases. What if Jared Allen never posted a 10+ sack season again? What if AD never ran for 1200+ yards again? Those people might have been right when they said overrated. Try not to take offense.
A lot of Packers fans come on here and do negative posts because they are either A) trying to stir up trouble b) feel that they know something that you guys don't or C) they are jerks. From the insensitive things you just said about Favre, I'd be willing to say that option "C" could name you from time to time. You gonna make fun of Jordan for crying when he retired from basketball?
Toddy, Favre has said that he knows that he can still play and we all know too. That was not a fluke of a season... he's done it many times before in the past. Many QBs and players have said goodbye to the game when posting an amazing record or amazing stats. It isn't uncommon. I'm sure he did fear, if even a little bit, that he couldn't duplicate this last season and I don't blame him. You have said many times you are very football smart... saying what Favre did was a fluke would, in my opinion, would not be smart.
Actually, I see many Vikings fans raising hell on our board. Same with Bears and Lions fans and even Cowboys and other teams fans. It happens... to everyone's boards... all the time.

you can't tell someone to grow up when you insult them right back in the same manner (bashing favre, bashing us, etc)
No we aren't going to leave your boards because, you know, sometimes it is fun to try and debate fans from other teams.
You are an entertaining fellow but you need to mellow out sometimes and other times not exaggerate facts.
By the way... best of luck to your Vikings this upcoming year. They could really take the league by storm if Allen and Madieu play up to their defensive hype, TJ plays within himself, and your WR don't drop the ball (pun intended.)

I was more refering to the guys like Stick22, and Packer fan323 and guys like that. You cannot be included on a list with them, not for any reason.

bigcountry... if you insist on replying on a Vikings board then change that ridiculous picture of the most overhyped player in the history of professional sports. We are all sick of seeing him, hearing him talk, hearing others talk about him and especially hearing him cry. I bet he threw an interception on that play anyways. Good riddance... i hope. Unfortunately I have a feeling your boy Rodgers won't be able to continue after the beat down he gets on the Monday Night opener. Then old man farve will come to the rescue, just so he can increase his all time record for INT's. I imagine you have to get back to your cheese now.

To be honest many of us Vikings fans are very blinded to the fact that we are not the only good team and we still have holes that could make us an average team. I remember last offseason when many Vikings fans were saying, "Tarvaris Jackson will be just fine coming in a starting this year." and now we are still trying to defend that very statement by saying the same thing. which is exactly what Packer fans are doing with Aaron Rodgers right now.
What I'm trying to say is that because there are not enough fans on any team that are not blinded by their love for their team. Other teams fans provide insight that might not be seen without their objectivity.
Yes some people are stupid and just post pointless crap but I know a lot of very intelligent Packer, Bear and Lion fans who really know what they are talking about. So there is no point getting upset over the tards.
Good posts Toddy , Outcold , and yes , Big Country Doctor . . . All of you made good points . . . But honestly , Vikings fans DO go on the Packers board ( and Lions , and Bears ) and insult them . So I expect them to come on our board and give us sh!t too . And tho some of them can be a bit abrasive , some are here just to have a little fun . Stick22 is one of the slightly abrasive , sometimes amusing Packers fans . I don't mind most of them , most of the time . BigCountryDoctor generally has down to earth posts . Green is Mold ( gold ) is usually amusing as well . Most of the others run the entire spectrum of amusing to annoying . Either way , we're all just here to have fun and meet with fellow fans .
