dawgdaze, I'll be your huckleberry:
QB - Ben.
RB - Tough call, at least if you're considering both guys over their entire career. It's tough to compare such different styles (refer to the Miller/K2 debates), but I'd pick Parker. Lewis was an absolute force with Baltimore in years past, but he doesn't have any breakaway speed (except against Browns DBs) and really needs the line to open enough of a hole for him to gain momentum, otherwise he's easy to bring down in the backfield. Parker's stats are overrated (he had a ton of carries last two seasons), but he's still underrated as a runner (if that's possible). He's tougher than many assume and can be an every-down and goalline back. At this point in both of their careers, I'd definitely take Parker.
FB - You can make a strong argument for Dan Kreider over Vickers, but it's tough to rate FBs. Since most of their impact is displayed in team running stats (neither is a rushing/receiving threat himself), you'd have to pick Kreider over Vickers by virtue of the Steelers consistently putting up top 5 rushing numbers and Cleveland typically being in the 20s in team rushing (although #10 last season, so improving).
WR - I'll give you Edwards and Ward (though you can make an argument to replace Ward with San Antonio, but Ward compliments a WR like Edwards better).
TE - I don't think we need to touch this debate again -- it comes down to personal preference. If you prefer good fantasy numbers from a prima donna who holds out of offseason practices, you go with K2. If you prefer an unselfish, dedicated, efficient TE and prefer winning games in general, you go with Miller. ;)
OL - I'll admit that I'm not an O-line aficianado, but Thomas, Steinbach and Fraley are pretty solid. I don't know a thing about Tucker. The Steelers line has been changing, so I can understand only having 1 or 2 reps from Pittsburgh coming into this season. As far as our best guy, though, I'd take Marvel Smith over Willie Colon in a heartbeat...and Smith has experience at RT, if you want to keep this "team" locked in by true position.
Defense - No major arguments here -- even though I'm not sold on Rogers just yet, I don't know that Diesel Keisel (as much as I love the guy) would replace him. I guarantee you that I wouldn't put Anthony Smith above any guy on your list.
Longsnapper - Nice try. Warren.
Have a great weekend everyone -- remember, only 16 more weeks until we can actually back up this talk with hard data!
