Alright, the first game is in the books against the White Soxs in this series and it was a great game.

Vlad came to life going 2-5 with a home run and 4 RBI's.

Adhenhart got his first Angel win and then got sent down to triple-A today.

We put up 10 runs to the White Soxs 7 to take game one.

Weaver is pitching tonight, so I am hoping that he keeps everything under control because watching a White Sox's batting practice is something I don't want to see in tonight's game. They have a good line up and if we can just get Weaver to go 6 innings with an ERA around a 2 or 3 we should be golden.

CBS has also put out the power rankings today and our Angels are ranked 3rd in MLB. Just think where we could be if our injuries didn't get the best of us (Lackey, Escobar, Kendrick, Sheilds, K-rod, and Figgins).  We have over came a lot of injuries and we are still playing great ball. I am loving this season. I truely believe that this is our time.

GO ANGELS!!!

Weaver has gone 4 innings with a pitch count of 72, 5 K's, and no hits allowed. This is the type of production that I would love to see from Weaver.

Keep up the good work Weaver

GO Angels!!!

Tonight is a pitchers game

Weaver has gone 7 innings giving up only one hit.

Too bad the Angels are not giving Weaver any run support tonight

Alright, game two is in the books and our Angels come out ahead again.

Tonight's game was a very good pitchers battle.

Weaver went 7 innings, giving up 1 hit, 2 walks, and stuck out 6 batters. Great job Weaver!

Shields came in for one inning and gave up 1 hit, stuck out 1, and picked up the win.

K-rod came in and shut the door giving up 1 hit and stuck out 2. He saved the day again giving 16 saves on the season (Leads the MLB).

We re-claim the 1st place spot in the A.L. West.

GO ANGELS!!!!

I was at the Big A for tonight's pitchers duel between Jered Weaver and John Danks...great game with the Halos pulling it out late after squandering some earlier chances.

Weaver pitched better tonight, but went to too many 3-ball counts. That, and the White Sox fouled off  A LOT of pitches, making Weaver work extra hard to get through 7 innings. He definitely deserved the W, but we scored a little too late for that. Nice to see Weaver get back on track, though.

That Danks changeup kept us off-balance all night. We did hit a lot of balls hard, but came up empty and then did nothing when we got guys on base...till the 8th inning.

All-in-all, great game and a great win. Back in first by a half-game.

Go HALOS!!!!

Great job from Weaver tonight. If he can pitch like this on a more consistent basis, and Lackey coming back, the future is looking pretty bright.

Go Halos!  Great games so far this series.  Very entertaining.  Nice way to bounce back from the sweep in Tampa too.  Give Tampa their props, they're playing great ball for Joe Maddon and now they're in 1st place in the EAST!  Let's see if the Angels can complete the sweep and welcome back Big John Lackey with a WIN tonight!

Sorry I've been absent from the message boards the past two weeks.  I'm pleased to say that my wife gave birth to our second son, so I've been busy changing diapers and washing bottles and such!  Add one more halos fan to the Angels Nation!

Alright, I missed the Angel game tonight because I was watching the Lakers up it on the Jazz. (Not really it was like a last minute win, lol).

Anywho,

It looked like Lackey had a good first outing giving up just one run, one walk, and only 6 hits to the White Soxs. Too bad we couldn't get him any run support.

Lackey still didn't get the win because Shields h
