What Bowl game will the Badgers get into this year?

	They'll be in the Rose Bowl. I said before last year that if they went to the Rose Bowl I'd be there, otherwise I'd be at whichever bowl game they went to this coming year. I'm predicting that they'll take me to Pasadena.

	Our offense is good enough to get to Pasadena but our defense is going to keep us in Florida at the Outback or Capitol One Bowl. Shaunessay and Newkirk are great but they need more help on the defensive line. The linebackers, especially Hodge, will need to show big improvemant and stop over running plays. The secondary needs a hitter like Stellmacher or Doering to put a little fear into the receivers coming across the middle. I hope they find these players, but until they do we are 2nd or 3rd in the Big Ten.

	Isn't an at large BCS game a possibility too? That's a good point. I could've/should've elaborated on why I picked the Rose Bowl. I think the Badgers beat Ohio State but lose a close one at Michigan State, which would mean UW and OSU would be tied for the B10 championship and Wisconsin would own the tiebreaker, sending them to Pasadena. In that scenario OSU would get an at-large BCS game. I think that the winner of the OSU-UW game goes to the Rose Bowl.

	The conference needs to get better to be considered for an at large BCS bowl bid. The SEC, Big 12 and PAC 10 conferences are perceived as better conferences and (except for Ohio State playing USC) the weak non conference schedule for the Big Ten is not going to change anyone's mind. The only way to a BCS Bowl is by winning the Big Ten.

	The only way to a BCS Bowl is by winning the Big Ten. This is not necessarily true. For example, if another Big Ten team were to reach the national championship game than a one or two loss Wisconsin could still get into the Rose Bowl. This would be like last season when Illinois was picked to play in the Rose Bowl after Ohio State was in the national championship.

	I said the Rose Bowl, but this conference never goes the way people think it would. Last year, Illinois came from neverland to make it to the Rose Bowl. The Badgers couldn't beat a good team like they were expected too, its just wierd. This years Badgers should have Rose bowl talent, but there are 10 other teams that I don't know much about so there may be more surprises.
