i dont know if anyone saw the halftime interview with chauncey , but hes ready, he says hes 100% , so its on, tuesday night at boston, we arent scared, the Pistons can steal both games i think , the Celtics are going to be so tired and the pistons are fresh.  we have motovation losing 2-3 to them in the regular season, sheed will be up for it, i cant wait, go pistons.

billups 4-3, later.

Detroit should be well rested and ready to win Game 1 in Boston.  It is when the Pistons are underdogs when they seem to play their best.  With a victory in Game 1, the Celtics will be shaken, due to they can't win on the road in the playoffs.  Even a number 8 seed was able to take them to 7 games, as well as the Cleveland Cavaliers.  Detroit will win this series 4-2 and move on to the NBA Finals and their long overdue championship.  We should have been in the NBA Finals the last 2 years.  But the Pistons are a deeper team than last year and our starters better rested.  This should be a very interesting series.  So far, only Detroit and Los Angeles have won on the road in the second round.  I like to see the Pistons vs the Hornets for the NBA Finals.

The Celtics have played two straight 7 game series and will ripe for the rested Pistons in Game 1. This will be a physical series and the Celtics may be too worn down to make it past the Pistons. I say the Pistons in 6. Also, keep in mind none of the Celtics "Big 3" has made it past the conference finals before.

i agree! This series is ripe for the taking! Boston is a very cocky team, and Rasheed will be all over Mr. The Truth (whatever). they are tired, and we are ready. They should do the same thing Cleveland did, and that is if someone goes to the hole, you mug the !@#%% out of them! Detroit is the origionators of the hard foul. Go Pistons!!!!!

hey, ask the Colrado Rockies about having a week plus off, worked out great for them, 4 game sweep, im not saying that will happen but I think the Celtics come in with momentum and the Piston while rested are also going to be a bit rusty... and oh yeah, Celtics do not lose on Boston, just a fact, yeah we are 0-6 on the road, but regaular season we were 31-10 on the road best in the NBA, id have to say that 41 games  is a better sample size than 6, so the Celts will win one game in detroit and win the series in 5

Green 17!!!

Steal both games??

The Celtics are 8-0 at home and you think you will take both? Detroit needs to win all their  home games and still that doesnt mean a series win.

I say each team wins one on the others floor.  If Detroit doesnt take 1 of the first 2 Celtics in 5. If they do Celtics in 7.

The only sure bet is an entertaining series between the best 2 eastern confrence teams.

Agree that taking both in Boston is a bold statement but to say Boston in 5 is even bolder! Celtics in 5 is flat absurrd! They couldnt win in Atlanta or Clevland what make you think they will win in Detroit, a better home team then both of those teams?  I agree a good series is on the docket and my person prediction is if the Pistons win one early in Boston Pistons in 6, if not then it will go 7 and all bets are of and I look forwad to a good game. Remeber the Pistons have a history of Playoff road wins, including game 7's and Boston has no such pedigree!

The post season is whole different animal. Please see previous post and provide reasons that you think the Celts will win in Detroit and how they possibly can win in 5. You Celtic fans are off your FN rockers!
