Scout has updated their ratings for the class of 2008, and there's been a couple changes.  Robert Wilson jumped to a 4-star, and is ranked as the #25 shooting guard in the nation.  However, after a stellar senior season in which he grabbed several POY awards for Minnesota, Jordan Taylor dropped in the rankings, down to the #30 point guard.  He's still a 3-star, though.

Jared Berggren is still a 4-star and is ranked as the #14 center (I'm not sure, but I think that's higher than last time).  Ian Markolf is still a 3-star and is ranked as the #30 center.  Ryan Evans is still an unranked 2-star, but that's no surprise because the people in charge of Scout's rankings probably haven't seen him more than once, if at all.

Scout will be updating it's team rankings on Friday, and there's a very good chance that Wisconsin will be ranked in the 20-25 range.

Wilson's jump and Taylor's drop makes the argument over who will see more playing time next year a little more interesting.  I still think that Taylor and Berggren will get the most, but Wilson will be pushing for minutes.  And I'm still going with Markolf and Evans redshirting.

Komaki.  Scout is bogus we both know that.  Taylor won a couple POY titles in Minnesota and he dropped in the rankings??  He was first team all state and he killed fools in his senior season.  Taylor will take over the PG spot when Hughes leaves and Wilson will be a decent player as well.  I hear Markof is having a really good year.  I was reading somewhere that he is the most underrated player in Texas and that he is now getting a lot of attention from other schools...to bad he already signed with us.  :)

As subjective as both Scout and Rivals ratings and rankings are, its still good to see that recruits and the class are highly ranked.  What is even better to see is that Bo is successfully recruiting more than the occasional player from beyond WI and MN  and

Komaki.  Scout is bogus we both know that.Yep, for quite a while now.  The problem is that as long as Rivals is mainly a pay site, Scout will be the main recruiting resource for the average fan.  Or the broke ones  : )

It's $40 a month?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!  WHAT?  There's no way I'll be getting it any time soon.  That's a bit over the top.

Wilson's "jump" is long overdue. From everything I have seen on video and read about him this kid was way underrated even in his junior year. This kid wasn't like Ryan Evans, he had talent all along but he was playing next to the best player in his state for most of his career, his senior year that was no longer the case and he was finally the center of attention on his team but his skills were always there and thankfully Bo recognized that even if the "masses" did not. I think Wilson is a coupe and will be an excellent player for UW

my bad komaki...i must have misread.  its like 100 for a year and even that seems a little steep just for some information on high school kids.  i think its like 10 bucks a month so its a lot better than 40 but i only check those sites like 5 times a month so ill have to think about it.
