For arguments sake, lets say Tebow again wins the Heisman this year or his senior year.  Obviously thats would make him only the 2nd player to do that and the only QB.  Would he be the greatest college QB of all time? 2 Heismans ( or more)and 3 great seasons would have to put him really close to the top. He already has one NC. What if he wins one or more NCs in the next 2 years?   The argument would be very strong.

He could even make a run at the ncaa all time rushing TD record.

He already has 1 heisman and 1 national championship. Not many quarterbacks can say that.

Herschel could eat Tebow and still be hungry. He's not half the player. Let me tell you what it took to beat Georgia when Herschel was there; Clemson in '81 (National Champions that year) they beat us by 7 and we had NINE turnovers in the game, Pitt in '82 Sugar Bowl (on the last play of the game on 4th down Marino throws a TD), & Penn St in  '83 Sugar Bowl (National Champions that year). So, it took two National Champions and, until last year, the NFL's all time leading passer to beat a Herschel lead team. Tebow gets beat by a team that got beat by a 1AA team. And Herschel should have THREE Heismans. It's no contest.

bookdawg  herschel was a great one but Tebow does play QB so he can kill you running or throwing. QBs traditionally are the most influential players on the field.   And come on,  you cant blame Tebow for Floridas porous defense last year. That was florida worst defense probably ever and Tebow still kept them in those games and won some games that almost nobody else could have. He was unreal @SC and destroyed FSU and Tenn.  Im just saying if he keeps up his current performance over the next 2 years, you could certainly make that argument.  Barry Sanders lost to some really crappy teams but he is still one of the best ever.

Mrslicesucks is LYTJR's OTHER SCREEN NAME.  All so its teabowtime is another screen name of Lytrj  Also Gator90 is also Lytjr screen name.  Does it get any worse than a poster using 4 screen names in one post to bump it up.  What a loser

He could even make a run at the ncaa all time rushing TD record.

I doubt it.

He would need 2500 yds each season to do that.

Oh yeah, & there's only 1 player to have ever done that before in even ONE season:

Barry Sanders.

btw,

Tebow FR - 469 yds rushing.

Tebow SO - 895 yds rushing.

a bit of a leap to make up the 5033 he'll need to tie Ron Dayne.
