BBlank... I have heard a lot of comments like this before...anytime anyone brings up how good the pens record was some wings fans seem to think they can discredit it by saying that the pens played nobody and that the wings are obviously better than anyone we played... 2 comments...

1. yes the wings are much better than anyone the pens have faced...that is obvious and I don't think pens fans are trying to say that the wings aren't better than the rangers/flyers/etc...the point is that anyone that takes the pens lightly is stupid just like anyone that takes the wings lightly

and 2. if you want to try to discredit the pens record by using this argument than lets go the other way...because even though many people won't admit it the pens are better than anyone the wings played in the playoffs...if you disagree please let me know who you think is better than the pens from the opponents that the wings played...having said that (which is an argument I don't like to use because none of it matters come game time but hey if people are going to use it i'm going to show how silly it is) so using this logic that would mean that the wings took two more games to put away lesser opponents than the pens did to put away teams that were lesser than the wings...my point...this argument is stupid...the pens playoff record is great whether you want to admit it or not and so is the redwings...so to all the people who are dismissing the other team from both sides...wake up...this is going to be an amazing series...no sweeps here from either side...
