Another choker. Way to go Shawn Chacon. You're going to be released. Then you won't get another contract. Then maybe you'll say something ridiculous, like any contract you receive "won't be enough to feed your family." Sound familiar. Where is Latrell Spreewell these days? Then again, Spree was pretty talented, and Chacon has bounced around a bit and never been more than a number three starter at best. I hope Wade's neck recovers ok.

Haha, "Another choker".... ....

I agree, it's not a good thing to have happen in sports (or anywhere for that matter).  And yes Chacon should be punished but what about Wade?  I mean seriously, do you think it was all Chacon's fault?  Wade seems like a guy who likes to push buttons and he just pushed the wrong ones on Chacon.  Seriously, you don't interupt a guy Chacon's size during dinner.  Pulling that man away from his dinner plate is like pulling a bear from her Cubs.  I'm not saying Chacon should have done what he did but I seriously think there is a little blame for Wade also.  What repercussions are there for Wade to face?  Chacon got suspended but what does Wade face for being an instigator?

Plenty of blame to go around.

There is no blame to go towards Wade.  If your boss goes to tell you that you need to go to the managers office, you can't get upset and choke slam him.  Chacon should be blackballed by all MLB teams.  There is absolutely no place for a worthless thug like Chacon in baseball.

Yeah, Wade is at fault. My boss pushed my buttons, so I strangled him, the owner of the company gave us equal blame. It really was my boss's fault because he was yelling at me. Please, that's just dumb.

I agree, it doesn't  matter what Wade SAID to Chacon or how he said it. The fact is Chacon assaulted him. He should be punished and charged with criminal charges. There is a difference between grabbing a man in the neck, throwing him to the ground and yelling at him. Chacon is a dumbass.

The GM tells you himself (not through a lackey) to get in the manager's office and you think it's OK to tell him to take a hike? Then you make a scene when he discusses the matter  in public as you requested? Then you physically assault the GM? What other workplace is this OK? None I have ever been in, certainly.
