I think we roll all the way to a National Title. But, don't sleep on Washington this year. I saw them play a couple of times last year and their QB will be by far the most talented player on the field in that game. He's a beast. Plus, it's at their place and that crowd could be wild - particularly with the Sonics fiasco going on. A lot of those people hate Oklahoma as a whole for what's going on with that and they'll probably be more rowdy because of it. Still, I think we win 27-23, but it won't be easy up there.

OklahomaRules,
Our problem, lately, has been with teams that we should roll over (see Boise, Baylor into double OT). I've circled the UW game for sure. There are several things that are going against us in this one. The Sonics issue firing up the crowd for one. The Pac-10 refs are another. They are homers to begin with and if the crowd is wild and the refs are pi$$y, it could be a LONG day.
I'm hoping I'm wrong, but...we thought the boys would roll over Boise, WVU and look what happened.

The QB for Washington is definitely scary! A man that size should not be that fast and agile. His throwing abilities are (unfortunately) grossly underrated! Also, their coach is on the "hot seat" and a win against a perennial power such as OU would obviously solidify his job for at least another year or two (so long as the rest of their season doesn't take a downward spiral).

Yeah, cpOU, I hear you on their coach. As for the QB, in the games I watched he couldn't throw a ball worth a lick, although he has a gun for an arm. But, he was a freshman as well. "IF" he gets better and is on that day, that's the part I'm scared of. Then again, their defense sucks and I'm sure we'll roll up 50+ on them. Go OU!

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Hawaii beat UW last year? The Bearcats are scary but we have them at home. Hopefully we will be a much better road team than we were a year ago. It was painful to watch OU play in another teams stadium. On a neutral field (see Texas & Mizzou) OU did very well but when in the opponents back yard they struggled (See CU, Tech, and ISU).

Here is my order of team fear as a Sooner fan against the other opponents on the schedule ranked in order of who has the best chance to pull one off against the Sooners.
Texas, as always is the next level of class in the conference (Scary)
TCU, always a threat (High pucker factor)
Oklahoma State (Bedlam, High pucker factor, anything can happen)
@Washington (High Pucker factor) and non-conference always hurts
Kansas looked good last year (Some pucker factor)
Kansas State (Some pucker factor, always tough)
Nebraska (Some pucker factor and it IS Nebraska)
Texas Tech has a great crop of receivers (Some pucker factor)
Cincinnati (A little pucker factor, good team as an underdog)
Texas A&M won't get it done against the Sooners, nor will Baylor and Chattanooga.
That's ALOT of puckering. But all in all I think the Sooners can whip them all if they execute constistently all season.
