Where is this statewide IQ ranking list? How about the report that was recently released that named OKC and Tulsa 9th and 12th respectivley as top cities in which to live and build wealth. You can find that list referenced at newsok.com.
I'm a Californian who relocated to Oklahoma 10 years ago, most of the okie stereotypes are distant images of the past. The place is green, not a dust bowl. Most of the people are educated and humble people who are happy to have a pro sports team. So back oof of us okies Seattle, your elected officials and Shultz are responsible for you loss of a francise.
The worst part is that the ignorant rednecks who dominate this area are so sure of their superiority that they don't even realize that they have become exactly the stereotypes that the rest of the country makes them out to be.
What the hell part of Columbus do you live in???? Like any city, if you are willing to pay more than $200/month in rent, you won't have such terrible neighbors.
I've lived in Columbus (Dublin) since 2004. The Columbus you describe must be in a part of town I don't frequent.
"BTW, oil and natural gas are not resources one finds in Washington state in much abundance that I'm aware of. Meanwhile, Washington ranks 15th in average income, Oklahoma 39th. Washington also ranks 16th in IQ, and Oklahoma is 35th."
Well, us po', ol', simple folk down here in Okie Land sure seems to gots da smarts to figure out how to get da job done width da Sonics. I'm jus sayin'...... :)
