OKCJohn,

The more I crap I read from you, the crazier you seem.  "A true fan"?  You have obviously no idea what a true fan is.  Why would anyone support a team that was stolen from them?  It's like putting the guy who robbed your house on your payroll.  Sure, I can root for Durant or whatever, just as I rooted for Payton, but you didn't see me caring when when he lost on other teams.  In my mind "a true fan" would be so pissed that they would eternally hate the people who screwed them.  In this case, for me that is  Schultz, Bennett, Stern and the NBA.  They will never get another cent from me.....ever.  Additionally, a true fan of the game would never want any team to move because they know how BS it is.  You Sir, are not a true fan and you are the selfish one. (Continually posting how you wanted the Sonics to move.) So, get real, and come talk to me about what a true fan is when you lose your beloved OKC Bandits in ten years.  I would love for you to tell me how much you love the new "Las Vegas Bandits" even after they ditch Oklahoma.  Yeah, right.

Screw the NBA and its flagrant fouls, flopping, make up calls, gambling refs, and money hungry owners!!!

CaveDonkey,  of course I wanted them to move. They are my favorite team. I wanted them here, as bad you wanted them there. Look, don,t get pissed at me, it was your city that sold the team. It was the fans that would'nt support the team. I am all for the team doing anything it takes to improve. If it meant moving wherever , so be it. With the lack of support, and a small arena, the owners can't afford to bring in talent. I did'nt like the fact that Ray Allen was traded, but if it would free up money to get someone younger, I am all for it. Bennett was smart enough to see how much money the Hornets made while they were here. They made enough to sign West long term, got Tyson Chandler and Peja. Signed Bonzi Wells. With all that success, they were able to sign Chris Paul to 3 years. Now they are set. They just need to learn how to win.      FYI,  as of this morning, there have been more than 11,500 calls and requests for season tickets. Can you just imagine? All of us dumb hillbillies buying tickets to watch the NBA. Who would have ever thought? Not you people from Seattle.

I see wonderful things for the team. The team will make a ton of money, and then will be able to sign a few very good veterans to go along with Durant and Green.

These things could not get done in Seattle. Be mad at the people that sold your team! Be mad at the the fans for not showing up to the games! Be mad at your city for not building a new arena years ago. You wouldnt be in this mess. Be mad at whoever you want, it won,t change a thing. Your city did not want them, and our city did, period!!
