Carl Hanratty - THE LOVELY TOM HANKS in "CATCH MEIF YOU CAN." The Christmas phone conversation in this movie was just about as perfect as a scene can get. You can see that Carl really wants to let Drank get away but just CAN'T, not his nature. And you cn see that Frank WANTS to turn himself him and make a real friend but just CAN'T. Good film making, the juxtaposition of want vs need, the blurring of good and bad. You want both characters to win, but only one can. Thanks for getting me started, Yank. Maybe I should start my meds now!!!!!
