I honestly believe that you have a chance this next year. Keep up the hope! You guys rock! If your guys can stay healthy, you can easily get a playoff spot.
With so much depth at running back this year in the draft,I believe the rookie of the year will come from whatever running back the Texans draft and while kubiak is stacking up the jags improving as well,tough division over there.
I like the Texans, and I would love to see them make the playoffs, but as long as they are in the AFC South it just isn't going to happen unless the Titans suck seriously. Look at it this way, three of the AFC playoff teams came from the AFC South. The Texans are doing well, but they need luck more than skill to get in this next year. Not to take away from their talent, as they have a very talented unit, just saying because you've got a super bowl team in the division.
I am trying to shine some light on the Texans. Why are you so negative. Whatever happens will happen, and you should have an upbeat attitude until your team is elimanated from playoff contention. I started this poll becuase I thought that the Texans could make the playoffs and to see the optimism on everyone who is a Texans fan. Vince Young, David Garrard are both overrated, and Payton Manning can only win becuase his team pumps in crowd noise. Always stay positive when someone is shining light on your team.
well this is a Titans fan here.... and with the new additions to the team there is no way the titans are sucking next year and i dont think Jax is getting any worse and Peyton still has his targets.... so unless the league changes there is no way the Texans are making the playoffs .... BTW have fun with Chris Brown ... he was great for us Maybe this time we willl be on the recieving end of the fumble.... also i dont think sage will ever win against us ... the last two he couldnt finish the game... lol ... watch out for the FREAK this year....
You can get into the playoffs through the wild card. The new season has yet to start, and anything can happen. Good luck to all the teams, especially the Texans.
The Texans should be better than the Titans because Schaub, if he can stay healthy, will be better than Vince Young. VY was great at UT and his 1st year in the pros, but I dont think he will be all that great at the pro level. It took a great throw from Kerry Collins for the Titans to beat the Texans in that second game.

I don't want to drag this thread off-topic, but what have the Titans done to get any better? You lost 14 sacks on your D-line and signed an aging, injury-prone situational pass-rusher. Alge Crumpler is a decent signing, but he's not exactly in his prime either.
And Justin McCairens is your big WR signing? I think we've only got four receivers I'd rather have than him.
The Jags have gotten genuinely better for sure, and that worries me. But the Titans and Texans are treading water and relying on the draft. Don't expect any muffed punts by us this year or eight field-goal games by your kicker.
i know u probably wont remember him .... but a guy named Brandon Jones is back from an injury and better than ever... now with the new OC he will get to play more and How in the hell is Schaub gonna be better than Vince Young or David Guarrd .... keep dreaming schaub will get hurt early in the season by either the Titans or jags , Colts mayb but for the fact ur o line sux i know we made schuab lve the game both times we played.... sorry but u better hope Sage pays attention in practice... and Andre is not a top three reciever ... lol .... He might be average like justin g. or m. but overall hes average... or a little above..
