I sit here and make it a point to watch almost every BJ's game i can!  I have been a fan since I first found out the NHL gave us a franchise.  The show they have given us from day one has been pathetic!  I don't fall for that whole "were building for the future" crap anymore!  I watch this team that has no team chemistry, no body knows what the other players are doing!  When the puck is by the boards nobody cuts down the middle towards the net!  It's almost as if all the know is how to cycle and they don't even do that very well!  I want the front office to give me one reason to watch these guys for the rest of the season!  CAN THEY HONESTLY?  All I'm saying is they better trade away some of our dead weight (Vyborny, Manny, and Fritsche)!  I know whats going to happen we will eventually lose Nash!  Eventually he will not want to play for a team that never makes the playoffs!

We are a laughing stock in this league the so called doormat of the NHL!  If they don't so something in the off season they will only be able to fill about a third of nationwide arena!  These fans in Columbus deserve a team that is playoff caliber!  For as bad as we've been for SEVEN years we still fill about 70 to 80 percent!  FRONT OFFICE DO SOMETHING FOR THE FANS BECAUSE US FANS WONT TAKE THIS CRAP ANYMORE!  NO MORE EXCUSES!

get back to me when you figure out what dead weight is...Vyborny had two goals against San Jose and is having a rough season. As for Manny and Fritsche..you must have never seen a good player because these are some of the hardest players we've got. We got rid of who we needed to in Foote and Federov, who are both getting ready to retire after this season most likely.

And what do you suggest we do with this...dead weight??? I mean, who do you think would take the dead weight of one of the worst teams in hockey. Well then you say dump them then. Well we still have to pay them so, we can't dump them, well i guess we could, but then we would have open roster spots or ahl players who werent ready...Gilbert Brule ring a bell???? Front office???? Dude, you do realize our GM has just now finished his first year and so has our president. What the hell are you talking about??? This team has made the turn, but don't expect them to do the Philadelphia Flyers thing next year, because A. there just isnt that great of a free agent market out there B. we are just now getting some of the peices in place, philly had a core set of guys with some additions like briere. C. Our front office will not spend to cap capacity for good reason, what if we are a contender next year and dont have any cap room at the trade deadline. D. they are building a winner, not a one and done team, which i like.

I completely agree with you here bluejacktfan. I believe our front office is doing a great job with what they have. You can sit there and say "I've been sitting through seven years of this rebuilding crap." But how hard is it for a new team to become a contender. You can look at any expansion team. Example: The Texans were established in 2003 and are now just getting the pieces together. I know this is football but it applies to any sport. The Jackets are making progress which is satisfying me. Be patient Jackets fans.
