and how have the Patriots never cheated? the commish just took their draft pick away and fined bill for no reason at all?
don't get me wrong, i am super tired of hearing "oh, the patriots cheated so now all their accomplishments mean nothing". i know this is a very unconventional view for a Colts fan to have, but the patriots are a damn good team. i love having a rival that is as good as we are. it makes the season much more fun to watch. just like the the Vikings/Packers about 10 years ago (i'm from south dakota so it was a HUGE rivalry because they were the only 2 good teams in their division at that time...the bucs were alright and the Lions and Bears were terrible). anyways, i digress.
i was actually rooting for the patriots in the playoffs until we lost, because i wanted the colts to be the team to knock them off. instead, that glory goes to the Giants, but i was really, really hoping that the colts would be the ones forever remembered for ending the patriots perfect season, just like miami is remembered for beating the 85 bears.
