While I agree the Sixers look like they are on fire... and pretty much crush the Spurs in their last game it's going to be interesting to see what they can do if they make the playoffs. I think they could make it to the second round but beyond that it could get tough... also would depend on where we are seeded at.
The problem is that the Sixers NEED the 6th spot in the eastern conference. I believe they cannot beat Boston or Detriot 4 times. Even though they beat Detriot earlier in the season, Detriot is too good to lose in the first round of the playoffs.
Exactly, If were put into a position where we have to play Boston or Detroit in the first round its very unlikely well win the series, though the way the sixers are playing we could probably put up a good fight
I agree that facing Boston or Detroit in the first round would make it very hard to get to the 2nd round. No one wants to be 1 and done in the playoffs so it would imperative that the Sixers continue to play like they are now till the end of the season. There is no guarantee that Toronto and Washington will finish 5th and 6th respectively. Injuries are and will continue to play a big part in the seeding in the Eastern Conference. Chris Bosh and Gilbert Arenas currently are missing and even though Andre Miller is a warrior, there's no telling if his back will cause him to miss any significant time before the close of the regular season. So with that being said, hopefully the 76ers will finish no lower than the 6th seed. That will give them their best chance to advance to the 2nd round.
Right now at this point in the season we are a better team than both the Raptors and the Wizards..Mo Cheeks has brought them together at the right time it looks like..Getting some good center play which has solidified the whole offense i think is the latest key.. Dalembert looks very good..AI 1 in town tonight lets hope for the best..Goooo Sixers
