I disagree with Prisco that their primary need is QB, even if they decide that Beck isn't the long term answer (which also begs the question what the hell were they doing using a second rounder on him last year?). It's quite clear that Miami isn't going to be competitive at all this year and a good offensive line is the basis for any great team (Patriots, Chargers, Colts etc, or alternatively look at the decline of KC) so why not draft the sure-fire Pro Bowl prospect, Jake Long?
I don't even think Matt Ryan is the best QB prospect in this draft (Brohm put up better numbers and carried his team for three years - tell me if you had really heard of Ryan before last year). Even if you think he is, why sacrifice him to the NFL without an offensive line? John Beck could be a good QB but you wouldn't know it because he spent so much time looking for open receivers (there were none) and then on his back - why would Ryan be any different (he's no Vince Young)?
A far superior option is to build the team up over the next two years, putting a strong O-line and D-line in place, together with at least one decent receiver, so that a QB can slot right in and be one of the later pieces of the puzzle
