The pats success has never been about their defense, and thats what has gotten old.  As long as the pats have that great O-line, Tom Brady, and now Randy Moss inked, that offense is going to continue to roll, and they will by more that 80% chance of taking the division.  BUT the beauty about football above all other sports, is that anything can happen in any given year, and considering the Jets soft schedule, and the Pats tougher schedule, they can alway make a run at the division.

In terms of Chad vs Clemens.  I think the Chad era is over.  Either you are going to give Clemens a shot, or you need to draft a new QB this year.  I think Clemens showed in Oregon that hes a solid QB, and just needed a line that can keep him on his feet for longer than David Carr in Texas.  He now has that, give the man a shot.  Under the piss poor line last year, Clemens did as well as Chad.  Its all a matter of upside.  Chad brings experience by a dying arm, Clemens brings youth talent and future.  I think Clemens wins the battle there.

Good article .. But everyone has a different opinon and mine is slighty different on the QB Front i think clemens has no upside and he dosent make good decisons but on the other hand pennington is a winner and makes great decisons and this dying arm thing is bull he can hit a 50 yard pass easy.

Just to let you know, the Pats have a relatively easy schedule, although most of their hard games are on the road.

I think you should go with Kelley Clemens. He has a chance to develop into a great quarterback, whereas Pennington only has a few years until he retires.

I don't thing either Pennington, nor Clemens are the answer to our QB dilemma. This year, we are pretty much stuck with who we have. I believe Chad will edge out Clemens in the QB shootout, and he will be better behind this improved line. Who knows, Chad has always had a way of going against popular belief. Our major needs that we can take care of in the draft are  CB, WR, DE(future replacement for Ellis), OLB (depth).
