The hack in the press box for CBS Sports makes it look like Willingham dropped a fly ball when, in fact, replays show he saved the game by knocking a HR back into the park so that LoDuca could come up and embarrass himself, the Nats, his family and all of major league baseball.

The 3-4-5 hitters do not produce, and Ryan Zimmerman has been at this for over a year now -- having no clue as to the strike zone. I would trade every one of his GWRBI for steady consistent hitting with men on base. That way you win the damn game in the 5th inning, not the 9th.

Also, Zimmerman is a cleanup hitter and not a three hitter. You want him up with as many men on base as possible, not ending every first inning. At least he flies out a lot and might score some folks from third. N. Johnson makes contact -- which makes him an ideal third hitter. Hell, put Zimmerman fifth. He has none of the qualities of a typical three hitter.

LoDuca did the same for the Marlins, Mets and Dodgers. He was always hitting into double plays, walking or strikeout. He is clutch in 7th and 8th inning, but leave it to him to blow it in the ninth.

Gotta give some credit to the Malrins also, they're not a bad team.

I realize that no company can send its own writer, but MLB (and I thought it used to be the case with ESPN) hires local talent to "string" games, so it is possible there are different syndicated accounts. I don't blame the AP guy for getting it a little wrong on deadline, but I hope the account was fixed later. They do have TVs in the press box.

And, echoing another poster, the Marlins do look like a pretty decent team, at least at bat.
