They were very close to making the playoffs but they slumped a little in the final two weeks which killed them. I would have loved to see them get in, but they just weren't ready this year. But for the team to be battling for a playoff spot well into March speaks a lot to the progress they made. Even though they didn't make the playoffs, which no one expected them to, they still made great strides.
Next year is going to be great. They're going into the season with much of the team in place. I think they need to focus on getting a good playmaking center.
