Now, that;s what I call "Friendly" golf... !! After playing all those years for trophies and abiding by every USGA rule, I like these a lot more. What a way to enjoy the game..!! This is GR-R-R-REAT... !!
Frankly, I still play by the rules, just not all of them any more. However, I've watched some people on the course and you'd swear they never saw a rules book. I never say anything because its not my business. Its a game.... its entertaiiiinment.
After reading the book, "Golf Is Not A Game Of Perfect", I now play the game for the same reason as I picked it up 48 years ago. I always figured in a few more years, I'll be able to shoot my age, BUT WITH THE NEW AARP RULES, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO SHOOT MY AGE A LOT SOONER. Thanks for the post . . .
