I count 9 for the Bears (plus one as the Chicago Staleys); 3 for the White Sox (1906 and 1917, plus the recent 2005); 2 for the Cubs (1906 and 1907); 3 for the Blackhawks (1934, 1938 and 1961); Chicago Fire have 1 in 1998; and 6 for the Buills in the two three-peats. That totals 24 championships in Chicago.
The Cowboys, of course have the 5 Super Bowls; Mavs have never won it all; the Rangers shouldn't even count as a Pro team; the Stars have one Stanley Cup. So...all told, 6 championships.
Now, let's compare this realistically:
The Bulls have been around since 1966, the Blackhawks since 1926, the White Sox since 1901, the Cubs since 1876, and the Fire since 1997. That's approximately 474 seasons of professional sports in Chicago- or one championship every 19.74 seasons.
The Cowboys have been around since 1960, the Stars since 1993, the Mavs since 1980, the Rangers since 1972 and FC Dallas since 1996. That's 139 seasons, or ione every 23.16 years. So you're right. Chicago has better sports teams.
Unless you mean in our lifetime.....
