What is Colon Campbell's problem? Him and Bettman are a disgrace to the game and should fired ASAP.

Hahaha, even my boy Don Cherry thinks this is stupid for Colon to try to end this 53 year old Detroit Red Wings tradition

I agree Wings fans! Illitch should just pay the $10,000 fine and have Al continue to wave the Octopus and then in July ask for a owners meeting to get Bettman removed from his perch.

	Illitch should just send a blank check to Bettman. NHL really likes to promote tradition and anything that might interest non-traditional hockey fans. You know the Ducks Brian Burke complained last year and the Predators Barry "no neck" Trotz complained well...about Everything in this series.

If we end up playing the Avalanche I bet Al will swing the Octopus right by the Avs bench hitting Fobba in the face with slime Musta been Trotz whining about it to the NHL to get our fun getting rained on Whoa! How tall is that Katrina Hancock chick doing the post-game interviews for channel 4? Why isn't she playing in WNBA dunking and going on Jerry Springer for abusing her boyfriends/or husband God I hope the Stars finish off the mighty Ducks tonight and the Flames drag out the series one game longer against the Sharks.

	Bettman and Campbell are a couple of morons. Heck, Campbell played a couple of years for the Wings, so what gives? Bettman should go back to the NBA cause he sure doesn't know the first thing about hockey tradition.

	This is the DUMBEST rule I have ever heard about. I will chip in $20 to see Al swing the Octopi as many times as possible. The NHL is already losing in the American markets so lets piss off one of the franchises that brings in the most money. Gary Bettman should be smacked in the face with an Octopus. How about fining Lepold (I think) of the Avalanche for throwing the Octopi in Saturday's game?
