Russell is overated, he is like Ryan Leaf.....the quick riser up draft boards cause people fell in love with his upside. Quinn will be better off behind a better o-line and defense! Here is a twinkie toast to Jamarcus Bust out Russell!

Great post...and as a Browns fan I hope you're right. I think Russell will be a big time bust. He eats too many twinkies and he has a weight problem. That is due to not having any discipline at all. I can't believe this guy. And it seems like he is the best thing in the world since the invention of the wheel.
Let's hope Brady Quinn gets his shot this year and with JaMarcus starting...we will find out who is the better QB

I'm really torn on who I think will be the better pro of the two, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say both Brian Brohm and Chad Henne from this year's draft will be better pro quarterbacks than Russel and Quinn despite not being the first QB picked in this years draft. With that said, I do think Russel and Quinn will be serviceable QBs. Quinn definitely has more quality players around him right now though.

It will be tough for Quinn to be a better QB when he will be sitting the bench for the next few years. Brady Quinn's future already has been decided. A career backup waiting for the guy that is better than him to get hurt. Hell if the team that drafted you does'nt see enough pomise to start you then maybe you shouldn't. Maybe he'll be a Rich Gannon type quarterback, ya know career back-up and stop gap QB. Then in a about ten years a visionary and proud orgnization like the Raiders pick you up and turn you into a star. Don't compare the Raiders to the Browns. The Browns have always sucked and always will, the Raiders have only stated playing like the Browns as of late.

I don't agree that Quinn's future has been decided. DA was an above ave. QB in college who threw a lot of TDs AND picks. Quinn had waaay better numbers in college, just didn't win any big games, but was always in the spotlight. BTQ, they didn't put Quinn in b/c he signed late and didn't know the O yet. DA just came in at the right time and did well, until the 2nd half of the year. Given the chance this year, Quinn may also succedd behind a good line, good RB, TE, WR & a better D. My guess, being a browns fan, Is Quinn will start after the bye- 1st game MNF vs Giants.
"Visionary like the Raiders?" Are you kidding? A; is like 80, he's lucky f he has any vision at all. Raiders haven't done anything since 1984 when they last won. And i don't count the loss to TB because you traded away your head coach to the team that ended up beating you. And spare me from your: at least we've been to the super bowl. We have just as many league championships, it just wasn't called the super bowl yet. we are both proud organizations.

Quinn had waaay better numbers in college, just didn't win any big games, but was always in the spotlight.Had Quinn played at Northwestern or Mississippi State we would have never heard of him. He was in the spotlight because he was at ND. He will never be what you are hoping and if your Browns want to compete, they better hold on tight to DA!!!!
