You are forgetting Alonzo Spellman.  The Cowboys are known as risk takers, I have heard of them referred to as the Dallas Convicts, so it doesn't surprise me they take a chance on Pacman.  I don't think the coaches run Dallas, I think Jerry Jones does, afterall Jones was the one who went out and signed Owens without Parcells knowledge so if you come to Dallas you better know who you are playing for.  I disagree with Owens shenanigans though, since he has arrived at Dallas (it kills me to say this) he has been a good team player, not the me me me Owens of the past.  I do think that O.J. would make a great Offensive Coordinator, nobody knows about breaking the law more than O.J. so he would be a natural choice to come to Dallas (joking).  Seriously, I think this was a good move on Dallas's part, if anyone can get troubled players to reform it seems to be Dallas.

DA Bears!

As a Pats fan we have have been the recipients of a majority of the fans of other teams venom for the last year mostly because of  video taping.  That being said, this is not a good signing for Dallas.  Pacman Jones is a career criminal who had not leaned after the first 8 times he ws arrested.  I know if I was arrested once I would lose my job and not be able to work in the field again.  I know what the flip side will be, "What about Randy Moss."  Moss had one run in with the law and has not had a problem since.

People can defend Pacman Jones all they want, the bottom line is he is a punk who has proven time and time again that he can not stay out of trouble.  By trading for Pacman Jones Dallas made a statement that no matter how bad a person you may be as long as you can help we'll take you.
